There are a huge variety of volunteering roles available at The Maypole Project and our current opportunities are listed below. Fundraising and Events
Events Volunteer
Join our team of amazing event volunteers and help us at various collections and events throughout the year
Face Painting Volunteer
Join our team at local community events to provide face painting to event attendees
Collection Volunteers
Join us across Greenwich and Bromley boroughs to help us fundraise
Support
Child Therapist
Support children in 1:1 sessions through the integration of counselling and play skills
Associate Counsellor
Provide emotional support to adult members of families where there is a child with complex medical needs
Family Ambassador
Join our network of parents/carers and other family members of children with complex medical needs to raise awareness of our work and help us reach even more families.
Befriender (Adults Family Members)
Provide emotional support to members of families where there is a child or children who have complex medical needs.
Volunteer Clinical Supervisor
Organise and facilitate clinical supervision groups and/or one to one supervision for our highly skilled counselling and therapy team.
Activities and Outings
Inclusive Activities Club Volunteer
Assist children with complex medical needs and special educational needs (and their siblings) at our inclusive activities club
Holidays and Outings Support Volunteer
Support our activity mornings and outings for children with complex medical needs and their siblings
Youth Club Volunteer
Assist with our youth club for young people with complex medical needs and their siblings
Sensory Centre Support Volunteer
Opening and helping families access and use our Sensory Centre.
General
Minibus Driver
To help with transporting families with children with complex medical needs to local activities
Trustee
Join our Board and ensure the safe and appropriate running of this ambitious charity.
