There are a huge variety of volunteering roles available at The Maypole Project and our current opportunities are listed below. Fundraising and Events
Events Volunteer
Join our team of amazing event volunteers and help us at various collections and events throughout the year
Events Co-ordinator (Community)
Co-ordinate information stands and collections at local community events to help us fundraise and promote the work of The Maypole Project.
Community Fundraising Project Co-ordinator
Take on a small community fundraising project to grow our network of local organisations and business who display our collection tins.
Face Painting Volunteer
Join our team at local community events to provide face painting to event attendees
Collection Volunteers
Join us across Greenwich and Bromley boroughs to help us fundraise
Support
Child Therapist
Support children in 1:1 sessions through the integration of counselling and play skills
Associate Counsellors
Provide emotional support to adult members of families where there is a child with complex medical needs
Family Ambassador
Join our network of parents/carers and other family members of children with complex medical needs to raise awareness of our work and help us reach even more families.
Activities and Outings
Inclusive Activities Club Volunteer
Assist children with complex medical needs and special educational needs (and their siblings) at our inclusive activities club
Inclusive Activities Club Leader
Facilitate our inclusive activities sessions for children with complex medical needs and special educational needs (and their siblings)
Drumming Workshop Support Volunteer
Love music? Support children with complex medical needs and their siblings to participate in our drumming workshops!
Volunteer Chaperone
Chaperone children and our young people in Maypole Project provided transport to and from our local activity clubs and outings
Teenage Club Volunteer
Assist with our youth club for young people with complex medical needs and their siblings
Holidays and Outings Support Volunteer
Support our activity mornings and outings for children with complex medical needs and their siblings

Minibus Driver
To help with transporting families with children with complex medical needs to local activities
