Fundraising and Events 

Fundraising Volunteer

Join our team of amazing volunteers and help us at various fundraising collections, special events and sporting challenge events throughout the year.

Volunteer Role Description

Community Speaker

As a Maypole Project Community Speaker you’ll help your community to understand the full range of services that we provide, and how they can get involved in supporting us.
Whether you are already a confident public speaker or are looking to improve and develop your skills, we want anyone who is passionate about raising awareness of The Maypole Project by attending local events and giving talks about the charity’s work. If you think this sounds like the role for you then we’d love to hear from you.

Support

Child and Young Person’s Therapist

We are looking for experienced, empathetic, and responsible therapists to work with our children and young people on a voluntary basis. The work would involve sessions with children with a complex medical need, or their sibling, on a 1:1 basis, through the integration of counselling with therapeutic creative and play skills.
