Why stream for The Maypole Project?
Streaming is a fun, inclusive way to get involved in streaming right in the comfort of your own home. Every year, 12 to 17 of every 10,000 children are diagnosed with an illness and/or disability that threatens or shortens life, 65% of these families will need to seek professional support. The diagnosis itself is life-shattering and stressful for each and every family member. Our promise to be alongside families every step of the way, creating a package of emotional support tailored to their needs. We offer the whole family support for as long as it is needed.
When you stream for Maypole you will be helping us keep that promise.
How to stream for The Maypole project:
- Choose what challenge you wish to take on. It could be a marathon of gaming, levelling up or playing alongside friends!
- Set up your fundraising page on Tiltify (or JustGiving) and share with your friends and family!
- Contact our fundraising team to receive your streaming fundraising pack to help kit you out Maypole style for your event.
- Prepare yourself for your challenge, sit back and relax start streaming all whilst raising vital funds for The Maypole Project!
What if gaming isn’t for me?
If gaming isn’t for you then that is fine! We have lots of suggestions that you can do for a streaming fundraiser:
- Just chatting about general topics or even hot topics in the news right now!
- A quiz or Q&A about anything
- Arts, cooking, crafts or sport
- Make up and hair styling
- ASMR
- Singing, dancing, acting or playing an instrument!
- If you need more inspiration, why not ask your community what they’d like to see you stream. It’s a great way to connect with your audience and get them involved.
