Wing Walk

Take on this incredible once in a life time experience all in aid of The Maypole Project. Experience the thrill of flying through the air at 120mph all whilst standing on top of the plane and enjoying breath-taking views over the Kent countryside.
Our wing walks will take places at Headcorn Airfield, Kent, with experienced flight providers The Wing Walk Company
There are various dates available throughout the year.
Registration Fee: £100
Minimum Sponsorship: £600

Wing Walking Requirements
The Wing Walker must be aged between 18 – 80 years of age
The Wing Walker must weigh no more than 85kgs (13st 4lb)
The Wing Walker must be no taller than 6ft 2 inches (189cm)
The Wing Walker must be able to climb up to the rig, situated on the wing of the aeroplane, unassisted

Taking part in a event that isn’t listed on our website? Whatever challenge you have chosen to take on, we would love for you to raise money for The Maypole Project. We love seeing our supporters tackling different challenges across the UK and sometimes even the world!
You will receive full support from the Fundraising Team and they will be on hand to help you with your fundraising and training. As a Maypole Project fundraiser you will receive:
- A welcome pack and email full with fundraising ideas
- Dedicated support
- A bright Maypole Project t-shirt or running vest!
