We have lots of fun ideas to help you celebrate Her Majesty’s 70 years in style. Whether you raise £7 or £70, every penny raised will make a huge difference, and help us continue the support we give The Maypole Project children and families throughout 2022.  As most of the country is set to enjoy an extra day off this June, our helpline and therapies will continue to run. Our support will not stop.There’s still time to get organising and get family, friends or neighbours over to celebrate and raise a toast to the Queen. Pop a collection bucket out, charge entry or sell some home baked treats, there’s lots of ways to make it fun whilst fundraising. Make the most of the celebrations whilst raising much needed funds for The Maypole Project. £70 could pay for three Play Boxes for children’s therapies  70 hours of therapy cost £3,500

A few ideas to kick start the celebrations…

Crown CompetitionSee who has the best skills with sequins and jewels and charge a small entrance charge to take part.
70 ChallengeCould you take on the 70  year challenge? 70 miles, 70 minutes, 70 laps you can do it anyway you like and ask people to sponsor your challenge.
Royal Heads and TailsCharge an entrance fee and play the game of heads and tails.
The Best Baker Settle it once and for all, who is the best baker? You can sell the yummy cakes after the official tasting.

Join Team Maypole!

Taking part in a event that isn’t listed on our website? Whatever challenge you have chosen to take on, we would love for you to raise money for The Maypole Project. We love seeing our supporters tackling different challenges across the UK and sometimes even the world!

You will receive full support from the Fundraising Team and they will be on hand to help you with your fundraising and training. As a Maypole Project fundraiser you will receive:

  • A welcome pack and email full with fundraising ideas
  • Dedicated support
  • A bright Maypole Project t-shirt or running vest!
