Activities and Outings
The Maypole Project provides activities and outings for children and young people with complex medical needs, SEN and disabilities.
These activities are designed to bring children and young people together to create peer support, make friends and importantly allow parents/carers to take a well-deserved break. Our activities and outings are for children and young people with complex medical needs, SEN or disability.

Maypole Active
Maypole Active is an inclusive sports and activities club, designed for children (aged 5 – 12yrs) with a complex medical need, SEN or disability, to gain access to sport.
Maypole Active is also a great way for children to socialise with their team mates, make friendships and create peer support in an informal setting.
The sessions are held in Bromley every Wednesday between 5pm and 6pm

Youth Club
Our Youth Club takes place every week and has been designed to give young people (aged 11yrs +) a safe place and environment where they can build confidence in social situations develop and build life skills, friendships and have fun the sessions are run every week in Penge. Sessions are both at our venue and out in the community doing various activities including bowling, trampolining, gardening, visit museums, clip and climb and plenty more!
We welcome siblings!
Our Youth Club takes place every Thursday and is £9 per child per session (there may be a small additional charge dependent on activity)

Buddy Scheme
Our Buddy Scheme matches volunteers with children and young people (or their siblings) who have a complex medical need or disability or SEN. Sessions can take place face to face, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Having a buddy is designed to be fun and engaging, to help alleviate any feelings of isolation, encourage social interaction and peer support.

Outings
Our outings take place during school holidays and are all about having fun!
They’re not only a great way for children and young people to make friendships and create peer support in an informal setting, they also provide a great opportunity for parents and carers to take a well deserved break.

Walk and Talk group for parents/carers
Our parent/carer walk and talk groups are designed for parents of a child with a complex medical need, disability or SEND. A chance to get together and walk around the wonderful green spaces on offer in Bromley and SE London.
When: once a month on a Tuesday
Timings: 10.30am – 11.30am
Where: Various different parks in the borough of Bromley and SE London.
Suggested donation: £5
