The Maypole Project Sensory Cabin

We have a fantastic sensory cabin at our main office in Green St Green, with brilliant equipment including interactive play areas, wall mirrors, a bubble tube, coloured fibre optics, plus soft play furnishings.

Our sensory cabin is a stimulating environment with equipment to help develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, colour recognisition, communication and sensory skills. The space is intimate and calming and we take individual bookings so that families can utilise the space however they need to.

We welcome booking from Maypole families and the general public. Pleast let us know your requirements and we can ensure the space is set up for your individual needs.

How much does it cost?

The cabin costs £10 per child/young person for 1 hour. This is an exclusive booking so you will have the space completely to yourself during your time slot(s).

How do I book?

Please email our helpline on helpline@themaypoleproject.co.uk or call us on 01689 889 889 and one of our staff members will be able to check availiability and send you a secure payment link to book through. Booking is available for dates during the week 9:00am – 5:00pm subject to availability. You will receive an email as confirmation and further details of what happens when you arrive for your booked session.

Is there parking available?

There is free parking along Lezayre Road, and a space at the back of the office we can reserve for you with advance notice. Paid parking is also available along the high street, and any blue badge holders can park on the double or yellow lines. Our cabin has ramp access and there is an area to leave pushchairs or wheelchairs if needed.

Can I bring food and drink?

We ask that if you bring food and drink these are not consumed inside the cabin, but if you wish to bring snacks you are more than welcome to enjoy them in our outside area.

Sensory Garden Plans

We are currently renovating and revitalising our sensory garden and outdoor space as an additional area to offer as part of the sensory cabin booking, including getting brand new decking, awnings, and hopefully some garden beds. If you are able to help us with our redesign, we welcome any feedback, suggestions, and help you may be able to offer!
