The Maypole Project is now renowned for the services it provides to professionals in the field through training, debrief, supervision and counselling.
Professionals may be trained in working with children with complex medical needs and their families, but they too can become stressed by their work at times, for instance when a child dies or sometimes at difficult times in their own lives. Our package of support is invaluable in helping them and also enhances the families’ experiences of communication and treatment during a child’s illness. As knowledge of the work of The Maypole Project grows across the community, so too do the services it provides.
