Fundraising Manager (Maternity Cover)

An opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Manager to join our Fundraising Team to cover maternity leave for up to one year.

We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager with outstanding communication skills who is highly motivated.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and self-starter from a fundraising background.  You will be able to prioritise and multitask, working on your own initiative to identify, cultivate donors and build fruitful relationships with corporate and major donors.

In order to apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Work collaboratively within the team and with other colleagues across The Maypole Project, to achieve our fundraising objectives.
  • Place our supporters at the heart of everything you do, helping to deliver an outstanding experience to our volunteers and supporters.
  • Identify, secure/win and effectively manage community fundraising partnerships with companies, groups and events across your dedicated area, and build a strong pipeline of new business.
  • Promote and represent the work of the charity, personally and in the media, so that the cause is known and supported, and to strengthen The Maypole Project’s engagement with the local community.

Hours: 3 days
Location: Head Office, Orpington

(Temporary contract for up to 12 months)
